September 10th is Sunday School Rally Day starting at 9:15 AM.  The Adult Sunday School class will study C.S. Lewis'  Screwtape Letters.  A profoundly insightful and delightfully written dialogue exposing Satan's ways and wiles, is the basis of a study and discussion led by Gary Stueckle.  This is a class of benefit to everyone.

We are trying something new with our youth Sunday School this year.  The program is called K.I.D.S. Church with more than 1,000 fun ways to experience God in their lives. It includes awesome DVDs, phenomenal praise music from Integrity Music® and a curriculum that imparts life principles that kids can apply immediately—with their friends, on the school bus and at home. Kids will navigate their way through God’s Word with confidence, see Jesus in every lesson and understand the chronological order of important Bible lessons and characters!

Then join us after our worship service for our annual Rally Day Picnic at Edmonds City Park, 12:30 pm.  We will have good food, fun, games and a Pie Tasting Contest.  See you there!

Palm Sunday Hymn Sing - A Hymn Sing will be held at Grace Lutheran Church on Palm Sunday, April 9th at 6 pm.  It is an evening of singing the classic hymns and gospel songs by the congregation and the Grace Sanctuary Choir.

Easter Breakfast - Join us for breakfast served by the Youth of Grace at 8:30 am on Easter Sunday, April 16th.  We will also have pictures taken near the fireplace in the Sanctuary.

Checkered flags will fly!  Grace Lutheran Church announces that The Incredible Race is about to begin! Cheers of the crowd mingle with the screeching of racecars circling the track as drivers prepare to begin the race when the green flag drops. This action-packed program runs daily 9 am to Noon, July 10-14.

We’ll be in a race with eternal impact and turbo-charged lessons will help prepare kids for the race of life. They’ll enjoy hands-on involvement, as they learn from biblical pacesetters who have turned in championship performances.

We’ve packed the racetrack full of fun, excitement, great games, creative crafts, and yummy treats. We might even wave in our mascot, ‘Otto,’ for an unscheduled pit stop.  Check out the Vacation Bible School link for additional information.

Passover is the first of the seven annual festivals celebrated by the Jewish people and is considered to be Israel's foundational feast upon which the other six feasts that follow simply build upon. Passover, a feast which commences Israel's religious year, is often referred to as the Feast of Unleavened Bread because only unleavened bread was eaten during the seven days immediately following Passover.
