Grace is a theologically conservative and evangelical congregation in the Lutheran tradition. Organized in 1998, we became a member congregation of the Church of the Lutheran Brethren of America in 2001. Our mission is to be an instrument of God's love through which our world may come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and follow Him as Lord. Our ministry forms around the following six commitments. If you are looking for a church to call home, we invite you to consider whether Grace might be just the place for you.
-
A place for worship. We believe that the
worship of God through His son Jesus Christ is our highest calling. We
center our worship in the proclamation of His word, in the rhythm of
the traditional church year. Our services are conducted in a simple,
familiar style that spans generations and speaks to mind and heart. I Peter 2:9
-
A place for God's Word. We believe the Bible
is the very word of God and as such is our only reliable and fully
sufficient source and guide for faith, doctrine and life. We offer a
variety of opportunities for people of all ages to study the Bible and
apply its timeless truths to daily life. II Timothy 3:16-17
-
A place for prayer. We believe that Jesus
Christ has provided spiritual access into the presence of God. We teach
and practice prayer as an indispensable part of our congregational
life. Hebrews 4:14-16
-
A place for Christian community. We believe
God calls His church together around Jesus Christ for our mutual
encouragement. We seek genuine community in our congregational life, a
fellowship that includes the entire church family. Hebrews 10:24-25
-
A place for service. We believe Gods gifts
each person uniquely for His service. Our programs are designed to
offer our people opportunity to serve Jesus Christ within the
congregation and in the community. Ephesians 4:11-12
-
A place for salvation. We believe God has
provided in Jesus Christ the way to enter into eternal fellowship with
Himself, and experience the new life He gives. Everyone needs to hear
this great news which we strive to proclaim in the congregation and the
community. With other congregations we support missions work in the
United States and around the world. II Corinthians 5:18
